Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Partial Areas.

Most Partial Areas sessions take 15–30 minutes, depending on the size and location. Allow extra time for consultation, preparation and soothing aftercare. We tailor technique for comfort while ensuring thorough hair removal and skin protection.

Partial Areas covers any smaller, localized zones like eyebrows, upper lip, chin, underarm patches, side bikini lines, toes or knuckled patches. If it doesn’t fit a standard full-area service, we’ll gladly accommodate it at a flat rate.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about 1/4 inch long. Avoid heavy moisturizers, recent tanning, and harsh exfoliation 24–48 hours prior. Let us know about products or medications that can affect skin sensitivity.

Pain varies by area and personal sensitivity, but partial waxing is usually quicker and less cumulatively uncomfortable than full-area sessions. Our therapists use gentle techniques and can recommend soothing options to minimize discomfort.

We assess skin before waxing; sensitive or mildly irritated skin may be treated cautiously or with a patch test. We avoid waxing on open wounds, sunburn, active rashes or certain medication-affected skin and will suggest alternatives if needed.

Scheduling every 3–6 weeks is typical, depending on hair growth and location. Regular appointments encourage finer regrowth and easier removal. We’ll recommend a personalized cadence based on your hair cycle and desired results.
